Remembering The Day Photography bio picture

Welcome, lovelies! I'm Noelle, the lady behind the lens here at Noelle Ann Photography [formerly Remembering the Day].  Taking photographs, well, I just really, really love it.  Life is beautiful and there are so many moments worth capturing. It is the little things that make me the happiest--getting my Anthropologie catalog in the mail, traveling anywhere...everywhere, cupcakes, polaroids, wearing red lipstick when I dress up.

I hope to always live simply, love endlessly, and never cease to be inspired. Thank you for stopping by. Oh, and DO say hello. You are always welcome here. Check back for my latest work, news and plenty of photos.

Sara, Jim & Baby Jones.

I’m seeing a lot of babies and baby bellies these days.  Sara is the sister of Mike, who’s wedding  I photographed last June. I love working with families time and time again. They become less like clients and more like…well, friends. :)   Baby Jones will be arriving into the world in just a few short weeks !

(Presley’s shirt says, “Only child. Big Brother.” Aw, so cute. And oh so true.)

Jodie & Stephen’s Post-Bridal Session.

Who knew winter could be so beautiful? I was actually hoping for snow for this shoot. It was cold. My hands were numb. Stephen got snow down his pants.  However…I would say it was all worth it to photograph their pretty faces again.  This is one of my all-time favorite shoots. Ever.

March 9, 2010 - 6:32 pm Gregg Hart - Great work, Noelle! Love it.

March 7, 2010 - 10:52 pm Teresa Laing - These are gorgeous Noelle! I can see why this was your favorite! Winter wonderland with two beauties!!!!

Baby “O” Baby

[Haha, if you're following this link from Facebook, I bet you thought I was having a baby, right? :) ]

Earlier this month, Baby “O” finally arrived into the world to meet his mom and dad.  He is a beautiful baby, and I am happy to finally meet him, and well, find out he’s a him (Nancy & Tim kept his sex a secret the entire nine months.)  His name is Judah David, and he is precious.  We did this shoot when he was barely a week old. A week later when I went back to visit, he had already grown so much !

Noelle Ann Photography is now on Facebook…!

Okay, I gave in. I joined Facebook. Let’s be friends, find me here !

ps. I can’t promise to be very productive on Facebook. But at least you can find me there now :)

Sheryl & Keith.

Two darlings who were willing to withstand the cold, dreary winter weather for their engagement shoot.  Thankfully, I kept thinking of August, (their wedding month) to keep me warm. Unfortunately, it did not help.  But despite the chill, their pretty faces don’t show it, they look lovely. But the cold is good for one thing, snuggling and making cute pictures.

Big news! New site! New name!

Hello darlings ! I’m still here…are you? :) I’ve been waiting to reveal all this goodness to you, and well, the time has come. Remembering the Day Photography is now Noelle Ann Photography, complete with a brand new website. I’ll admit I am a little sad to bid the name Remembering the Day farewell, afterall, that’s where it all began. However, I’m moving forward with something new & fresh.  I hope you like the changes, I know I do ! Really, its all still the same here, same ol’ me, same fun photos, just a little freshening up of the name and site :)

And so, without further ado, go HERE (www.noelleann.com) and check out the brand NEW site ! Go on…Check it out !

ps. this blog web address will also be changing, so be watching for that soon !

February 23, 2010 - 10:40 am Jill - Yay, Noelle! I'm so happy for you! :-) The site looks awesome!

Jodie & Stephen 1.24.10

The first wedding of the new year, and what a lovely one it was to ring in the 2010 season.  Jodie & Stephen were married at the Maumee Indoor Theater on Conant, and I must say, it is my new favorite venue for a wedding.  [Side note: if you need a location for your wedding, check it out. The owner is awesome. The place is awesome.]  Anyway, I loved everything about this wedding…it was so unique, so creative.  The best part is that even though the weather did not cooperate [ahem, rain..in January] the theater is beautiful inside, so we were able to do some incredible indoor photos.  Honestly, the reason I love shooting weddings so much is that I believe in the beauty of the lifelong journey that marriage is, and I love being able to capture that from day one of the journey. After all, the wedding is just the beginning…

Changes are coming.

So….I’m currently working on a new website (which will go live soon !) and along with that, some big changes for this business.  I’m changing my business name.  Its going to be something shorter, more personal, timeless…

But in the meantime, it’s all still a secret.  So just stay tuned, my lovelies, because…

Its all coming. Soon.

[And thank you, tea, for keeping me warm on these cold winter days.]

February 4, 2010 - 1:05 am nancy mitchell - Good for you Noelle! I am changing my branding too! Can't wait to find out what you are doing!

In Theory.

At the end of last year, Sam from Everlasting Images asked me to join he and Greg from Love is Greater for a band photoshoot.  I hadn’t photographed a band in awhile so I was happy to participate. Band shoots are one of my favorites.  They are so much different than anything else.  We began shooting at dusk and then into the dark so that we could work with off camera lighting, which happened to be my first time. It’s a bit tricky at first and probably not something I’d want to use everytime (I am fond of natural light), but it really can make for some incredible night shots.  The three of us took turns shooting and holding the lights to capture the boys of In Theory.

January 27, 2010 - 4:38 am Kenni B - Nice. I dig the last one. Something about the harsh shadow contrasts....or whatever you photog-types would call it.

Brooke & Justin.

Snow is good for one thing: cute photoshoots. (Other than that, no thank you. I’ll take the sun & green grass.)  But since Brooke & Justin live out of town and won’t be back much until their wedding this summer, we met while they were home for Christmas.  Brooke’s grandmother has acres of beautiful  property out in the country, so it was the perfect backdrop for our shoot, and even better covered in snow.
