Aren’t they cute ? You’ll be seeing their faces again around here after I photograph their wedding later this summer. We met up for their engagement session on a hot (oh yes…hot) and windy afternoon. They were up for anything so we went to a few new locations, which I always love to do. I had a good time photographing them and getting to know them. ’Tis another year of working with some absolutely lovely couples…

My site and blog have been down ALL day today, and now they’re back up, however…something funky is going on with my blog. All the recent posts have been deleted. So I’ve had to re-post the last four posts. Grrrrr…..
Anyway, all should be in working order now.
Have a lovely weekend !
ps. Meet our current house guest, Jackson. Husband & I are watching him while my parents are away. He’s part of our little family these days…

These two lovelies are getting married later this summer up in Michigan. On a beautiful sunny day they drove up to my neck of the woods for their engagement session. And yes…I got to use the polaroid on them. And yes…I kind of love it. Jill has the most beautiful eyes…they are so, so pretty.
see what I mean?

Spring has sprung, all is well, life is good. I’ll be seeing you often…

my camera family that is ! Yes, yes…I got a polaroid camera in the mail today, thanks to Ebay ! Every since I was a kid I loved polaroids & vintage photobooths. And even though Polaroid has halted production on the cameras and film, I bought one to have some fun with [while my film lasts, anyway.] I think I’ll even incorporate the little beauty into a few photoshoots. So if you have any polaroid film laying around you don’t need…send it my way

I have one word for these two. Beautiful. Okay, two words. Precious. They are beautiful and precious. Honestly, I loved them from the first time we met. They are both so genuinely sweet. This was my first wedding of the year, and it was such a lovely way to open up the season. I had so much fun photographing their day. Not only was the weather perfect [70 degrees and sunny] but I felt incredibly welcomed by everyone. I kinda felt like part of the family. Anyway, without further ado, here are a few of my favorites. Bri and Brent…enjoy soaking up the sun in Hawaii.

So recently I met up with Sam [from Everlasting Images] for a Trash the Dress shoot with the lovely Katie. The weather was just as dreary as can be, a cold and soaking wet downpour which never really let up all afternoon. But regardless…we kept shooting. Katie was a lovely model, so willing to do just about anything despite the weather conditions. Sam & I collaborated on her look for the shoot [oh how I love vintage !], which I think turned out so beautiful. I took hundreds of images from our time together but I’ve posted a few of my very favorites…

From a cold and wet trash the dress session recently…
