the CN Tower…the world’s tallest freestanding structure
This past weekend my beautiful friend Stephanie & her fiance Erik came to town for her bridal shower and I was able to steal them away for an hour to do some engagement photos. We went to the University of Toledo campus for their shoot (where I’ve never been before this session, can you believe that?) and I kind of loved it. Anyway, these two lovebirds are getting married late next month in Atlanta, and I’ll be catching an early morning flight to shoot their big day. I.can’t.wait ! They are getting married downtown Atlanta which will be FAB-U-LOUS. I am really looking forward to capturing their wedding and feel honored that they chose me to be the one 
This is a good month ! I can’t believe how quickly it’s going, but lots of good things are happening around here. Later this week the husband, myself and one our friends are heading to Toronto for a concert and then some hangout time in the city. I’ve never been so I am really excited to see it. Passports are packed, we’re ready to go.

What a lovely couple. These two are so sweet, so easy-going, and so happy together. Their ceremony was held at the Botanical Gardens and their reception at the newly renovated Crown Plaza downtown. The day began with a downpour (thunder and all) but ended with nothing but sunshine and a warm summer breeze. We did some photos at the Art Museum and a few at one of my new favorite spots downtown on our way to the reception.

I’m back from vacation. We actually got back last Friday, just in time for me to shoot a wedding on Saturday. Would you believe I didn’t take my camera out once while we were gone? (Well, I did take a few polaroids but that’s about it.) It was SO nice to get away. I have a more trips planned this year, mostly photo-related, but some not so much Anyway, before I left for vacation, I did a photo shoot with Blaire & Chris. Blaire & I went to high school together, so I was really excited when she contacted me about shooting her wedding. They are getting married in October, which at the rate this summer is going, will be here sooner than we know…
I will be out of town this week through Friday (the 10th). I will not have access to email, so if you send me something I will get back to you as soon as I return later this week. The husband and I are looking forward to getting away for a few days.

Arica & Mike…where to begin? These two beauties were married this past Saturday. I have really enjoyed getting to know them over the last several months. Chalk one up for another incredible couple I have been blessed to work with this season…honestly ! Their wedding was such an elegant and beautiful event, I am really glad I was the lucky one to capture it. Arica was an incredibly beautiful bride (her gown, so gorgeous!) with a great smile, and a laugh that is contagious. And all of the details that went into this day to make it so special were really lovely. They had a fantastic and energetic bridal party that made the day that much more enjoyable. So, here are a few of my favorites from their day.
