Remember these happy & smiling faces? Well Bethany e-mailed me again about doing an autumn portrait session. So we managed to find a beautiful [yet chilly] fall afternoon for their shoot. Autumn portraits are becoming my favorite, I do believe !

I have been really excited to share these images. Over the weekend I photographed this darling little lady at the McQueen’s Apple Orchard (such a beautiful place to shoot, and really, the epitome of the pending autumn). Allyson is absolutely beautiful. Her green eyes, her red hair, and the fact that she’s 8 years old and can put on a serious face like no other. I met her over two years ago, and I’ve wanted to photograph her ever since then. I love every single one of these images.

This little lady is five years old and started kindergarten this month. She has quite the personality. A beautiful smile. A contagious laugh. I recently asked Stormy’s mom if I could take her picture because, well, she’s just really beautiful. So we met up last week for a little shoot. And oh my, this girl knows how to pose ! Stormy was adopted earlier this year by a wonderful woman who has given her such a good home. And pretty much everyone that has met her thus far has fallen in love with her, she is quite captivating.

After a few rained-out attempts to do this photoshoot, last week we finally got the chance to meet for pictures. The shoot was supposed to be for Carter turning 6 months, (although by the time we did the shoot he’s nearly 8 months) but we also did a few of his older brother Evan (whose “dinasour hair” is awesome !) and a few of the entire family.

I told Evan to hug his brother, which resulted in what looks like a brotherly love headlock

Bethany contacted me about doing pictures of Andrew since he just turned 1. (He’s quite precious.) We did a few of the three of them too. I think they are such a sweet little family. Lots of smiles and candids. Just what I like.

These two little darlings are cousins. I have known both of their families for awhile, I photographed Bennett when he was a baby, and I photographed Ella’s mom & dad’s wedding a few years ago, and then along came Ella, so I began photographing her every 6 months or so. So a few times a year I meet up with these lovely families to photograph them. Ella is about to celebrate her second birthday, and Bennett is four. I love being able to see them every year, and see how much the kids have grown. And my, do they grow. Quickly.
