I got a new printer/scanner today so you can be sure I’ll be posting some of my film photos from time to time. I still love to shoot film. Polaroids are my favorite. (Scanning photos is less than perfect quality, although I think that’s part of its charm.) Anyway… here’s a family polaroid of the husband, myself & the newest member of our little family, Murphy. Murphy Oliver, Mister Murphy. He answers to all of the above.

Coming soon two fabulous & beautiful weddings to share….

Another lens for sale. It’s a (barely used) Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di LD Macro lens. A decent starter lens if you’re looking for something with a large zoom range. Tamron lenses fit a wide range of camera brands, including Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Minolta, etc… You can read about the lens here.

This little lady is five years old and started kindergarten this month. She has quite the personality. A beautiful smile. A contagious laugh. I recently asked Stormy’s mom if I could take her picture because, well, she’s just really beautiful. So we met up last week for a little shoot. And oh my, this girl knows how to pose ! Stormy was adopted earlier this year by a wonderful woman who has given her such a good home. And pretty much everyone that has met her thus far has fallen in love with her, she is quite captivating.

Soooo, my husband and I have added to our little family….
We got a puppy ! He is a 13 week old miniature schnauzer, and we named him Murphy Oliver. We’ve already become crazy dog parents….(if you have a pet, you know what I mean.) He’ll be making an appearance on this blog from time to time, you can be sure of that. And so without further ado, here is our little precious:

Hello friends….this lens is for sale, it is a [barely] used Canon 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 with Image Stabilization. It is a great basic lens, I am just purchasing something else and have no room for this baby in my camera bag. You can read reviews of the lens here. Please email me (noelleshumer@yahoo.com) if you’re interested and we can chat price

July was a very busy month…on a personal note, anyway. I had a little time off in between two very busy months. July brought us Independence Day (my favorite holiday!), the Mister & I went on our annual vacation to Kelley’s Island, celebrated our 5th anniversary, and spent a weekend in Toronto with one of our friends to see Depeche Mode in concert. Toronto was on my list of places to visit so I was really excited to go. And the city definitely lived up to my expecations. What an incredible place. So much culture. I mean, all you can eat sushi for $11.99? Come on. It doesn’t get any better than that. And while it rained (like, poured buckets) most of Saturday & Sunday I was able to bring out my camera a few times in between rain drops to capture some of the city. And so, without further ado, here is a bit of Toronto, lovelies:

The view from the Tower. Incredible.

I loooove riding the subway. So awesome.

I know. Not many photos, thanks to the rain. But there are more travels to come…
Hello lovelies ! The husband and I are back from our weekend in Toronto. What a FABULOUS city. I’ll post a few pictures later this week. But first, watch THIS. Now that’s a wedding I want to photograph ! [Just a little something fun someone e-mailed me earlier this week .]
Stay tuned in for August, it’s going to be a BUSY month ! Lots to post. Here’s a little piece of Toronto:
the CN Tower…the world’s tallest freestanding structure

I will be out of town this week through Friday (the 10th). I will not have access to email, so if you send me something I will get back to you as soon as I return later this week. The husband and I are looking forward to getting away for a few days.
Hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July ! I shall return soon…
My site and blog have been down ALL day today, and now they’re back up, however…something funky is going on with my blog. All the recent posts have been deleted. So I’ve had to re-post the last four posts. Grrrrr…..
Anyway, all should be in working order now.
Have a lovely weekend !
ps. Meet our current house guest, Jackson. Husband & I are watching him while my parents are away. He’s part of our little family these days…
