[Haha, if you're following this link from Facebook, I bet you thought I was having a baby, right?
]
Earlier this month, Baby “O” finally arrived into the world to meet his mom and dad. He is a beautiful baby, and I am happy to finally meet him, and well, find out he’s a him (Nancy & Tim kept his sex a secret the entire nine months.) His name is Judah David, and he is precious. We did this shoot when he was barely a week old. A week later when I went back to visit, he had already grown so much !

On another beautiful autumn morning and after many failed attempts (weather, sickness…) this lovely little family & I were finally able to meet up for their yearly portrait session. I photographed them when there were only three of them, and then I had the opportunity to capture’s Lydia’s arrival into the world last year. I love getting to shoot families year after year and seeing how the kids are growing & changing
And yes…it is official that autumn is my favorite time of year to shoot !

Remember these happy & smiling faces? Well Bethany e-mailed me again about doing an autumn portrait session. So we managed to find a beautiful [yet chilly] fall afternoon for their shoot. Autumn portraits are becoming my favorite, I do believe !

Props are fun. Particularly vintage ones. So I took a few with me when Courtney, Lynn & I went out for round two of pictures after they arrived home from their honeymoon. Lynn loves antiques & vintage treasures [much like myself] so this shoot fit my vision perfectly. I love just-for-fun sessions like these, because I get to do out of the norm stuff, you know, just because.

Where has the time gone? Oh my ! And yes, I’m slightly behind on blogging. Again. I’ve got a wedding & some family sessions to share, but for now here is a little peek of a wonderful family I photographed a few weeks back. Fall portrait sessions are my favorite. The colors and the light are beautiful !

Newborns are delightful. Nolan was barely two weeks old when I photographed him a few weeks ago. I love doing these sessions and capturing them when they’re still so tiny, and still so new to the world.

I have been really excited to share these images. Over the weekend I photographed this darling little lady at the McQueen’s Apple Orchard (such a beautiful place to shoot, and really, the epitome of the pending autumn). Allyson is absolutely beautiful. Her green eyes, her red hair, and the fact that she’s 8 years old and can put on a serious face like no other. I met her over two years ago, and I’ve wanted to photograph her ever since then. I love every single one of these images.

This post is long overdue. Also coming soon, (I promise):
Kevin & Mariel, Malachi, John & Jessica, and a few from our trip to Toronto.
…in the meantime, here are a few images of my beautiful friend Tiffany and her boyfriend, Ditto (his real name is Clyde the III, so they call him Ditto.) We met up a few weeks ago to do this long awaited session. It was the perfect summer evening, with perfect evening light. Oh, and I think they are so cute together. Keep looking. You’ll see what I mean…

(and yes, the above image is out of focus slightly. I know. But there’s something about it I kindof love…)
Stay tuned…
After a few rained-out attempts to do this photoshoot, last week we finally got the chance to meet for pictures. The shoot was supposed to be for Carter turning 6 months, (although by the time we did the shoot he’s nearly 8 months) but we also did a few of his older brother Evan (whose “dinasour hair” is awesome !) and a few of the entire family.

I told Evan to hug his brother, which resulted in what looks like a brotherly love headlock
